Intertek works directly with the European Chemical Agency (ECHA) and individual EU governments to provide a single-source solution for complying with the registration, testing, and documentation requirements of the complex REACH Regulation (Registration, Evaluation, and Authorization of Chemical Substances - EC1907/2006) of European Union. Compliance with REACH is mandatory for continued sales of chemicals and products in the European Union. Chemicals manufactured in or imported into the EU in excess of one tonne per annum must be registered.

Intertek is involved in chemical registration for chemical and pharmaceutical companies with hundreds of regulatory projects completed under GLP.
