Intertek Korea is approved for EMC/RF Testing for Telecommunication Equipment
Recently Intertek Korea was recognized by the National Radio Research Agency (NRRA) of Korea as an approved laboratory for EMC/RF testing of broadcasting and telecom communication equipment.
The test scope includes wireless telephone alarm automatic receiver, marine station radar, telephone modem, computer and peripheral equipment, broadcasting equipment, connectors, electrical appliances, instrumentation, industrial equipment, etc.
EMC and RF tests are mandatory for KC Mark certification. The KC scheme was initiated by the Korean authority in 2009 for all electronic and electrical products in order to protect public health and safety. Electronic and electrical products entering Korean market must fulfill stipulated safety requirements, pass the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and energy efficiency testing to obtain the KC Mark.
