Owner: Champion REIT
Type: Office Building
Certification: Platinum
Three Garden Road, one of the landmark properties owned by Champion Real Estate Investment Trust, has received WELL Core Certification at Platinum level under the WELL Building Standard by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), making it the first existing building in Hong Kong to score at the highest level of WELL certification.
Three Garden Road has fulfilled the WELL Platinum standard, including air, water, light, nourishment, movement, thermal comfort, sound, materials, mind, and community. This recognition is a testament to Champion REIT’s commitment in enhancing people’s health and environmental preservation in our properties.
Our client Champion REIT is the first to achieve WELL Platinum rating among existing buildings in Hong Kong. While new buildings can be tailored in accordance with existing WELL guidance, it is more challenging for buildings in use to obtain the certifications as enhancement works are needed to meet WELL requirements. Three Garden Road sets an example for many existing buildings in Hong Kong that WELL is achievable for all buildings. By achieving WELL Core Certification for the project, Champion REIT demonstrates its commitment to advance health and well-being for its own employees, and all the people who work for and do business with the tenants inside the project.

Lee Garden Two is located at Causeway Bay ‘s premium location. In addition to the popular high-end shopping mall for luxury brands, there are around 4800ft for property management office to manage the daily operation of the building.
In addition to the commitment to meeting the environmental standards to support green buildings, our client Hysan is one of the developers that strives to ensure their buildings to provide support to the health and wellness of their occupants. Different aspects such as air quality, light, and ambience are also considered to improve overall satisfaction, productivity, and comfort for them. The process for on-site assessments and testing is called Performance Verification. Our client completed the whole performance verification and pre-tests were also performed on lead (Pb) and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) to prevent exposure risks of the hazardous building materials to occupants. This practice is fundamental to high-performing buildings and helps project teams better understand the relationship between physical environment and human health. It is a distinct process from traditional building commissioning by assuring the building performs as intended, according to WELL requirements.
