Lighting Global coordinates a network of sampling agents and laboratories to test off-grid lighting products across the supply chain, from the factory shipping floor to retail shelves.
The laboratories are approved to conduct tests for Lighting Global. Based on training, capacity, and accreditation status, the laboratories are approved to conduct one or more types of testing according to test methods in either IEC/TS 62257-9-5 or the Lighting Global Quality Assurance Protocols for Solar Home System Kits.
Intertek Hong Kong is one of the approved laboratories with ISO 17025 accreditation for IEC/TS 62257-9-5 by accreditation body, Taiwan Accreditation Foundation (TAF), providing the following Approved Test Types:
• Quality Test Method for pico-products (QTM),
• Associate Renewal for pico-products (AR),
• Accelerated Verification Method for pico-products (AVM),
• Initial Screening Method for pico-products (ISM),
• Market Check Method for pico-products (MCM).
Intertek Hong Kong is the primary sampling agent used by Lighting Global, also our affiliated partners in other regions.
