Intertek HK Academy is happy to announce that the highly sought after Little Scientists Workshop is back in January 2018! This educational workshop offers various parent-child activities incorporating experiential learning and STEM concept. Fundamental scientific knowledge can be gained through educational and fun experiments which you will carry out together with your children.

Program Overview  

Target participants: Children aged 7 to 10 

Date: January 27, 2018 (Saturday)  

Time: 9:30am to 12:30pm / 2:00pm-5:00pm

Venue: Intertek HK Office, Garment Centre, 576 Castle Peak Road, Lai Chi Kok 

Fee: HKD990 per family (One child and One parent)

Includes:

  • Materials cost
  • Hands-on experiments instructions by related professionals
  • Use of a junior lab coat
  • Certificate of participation
  • Light refreshments


LITTLE SCIENTISTS EXPERIMENTS 

Balloons Reaction – Chemistry 
Blow up balloons, not with your mouth but through chemical reaction! Each family will be provided with materials necessary to create a chemical reaction which will release gases to blow up a balloon.   		 3ss
Small Organism Discovery – Microbiology 

Do you know organism can be everywhere? Look for them with a professional microscope.

Magnetic Train Creation – Physics 

Learn about magnetic forces and friction through action. Build a magnetic train model with your children and see how fast it can go.
