Intertek helps exporters to Algeria by providing inspection services to obtain the Certificate of Conformity also known as Certificate of Quality, Certificat de contrôle de qualité, which is required for exports to Algeria
A notice (by law 09-03, dated 25/02/2009, and decree 05-467 dated 12/12/2005) was published by The Algerian Ministry of Commerce in March 2011 to all importers reminding them of the obligation to provide proof of conformity by way of a certificate of conformity or certificate of quality for all exports to Algeria; It aims to ensure that they meet legal and regulatory requirements that affect them.
Intertek can assist exporters to Algeria by complying with this notice by offering pre-shipment inspection services to obtain the necessary Certificate of Conformity.
The required Certificate of Conformity can also be referred as the "Certificat de contrôle de qualité". The original copy of the Certificate of Conformity should be submitted for the particular shipment and should be issued in the country of export. It is a mandatory document for Algerian Customs clearance.
How to apply?
Please contact the Hong Kong Intertek office and submit the below information:
- Application form
- Proforma invoice
- Packing list
- L/C copy
- Test report
Procedure:
- When the documents have been reviewed without problems, a payment requirement will be sent to you.
- After we receive the bank slip of the payment we will arrange the inspection (Please allow a minimum of 3 working days notification for arranging inspection).
- Once it reaches the inspection requirement, we will issue the original Certificate of Conformity for exporters to Algeria
