Intertek Hong Kong was proudly awarded as the “Caring Company” for 3 Consecutive Year

The Caring Company Scheme in Hong Kong was launched and organized by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service. With the Chief Executive of the Government of HK Special Administrative Region as the Honorable Patron, the Council provided over 90% of the social welfare services locally with the vision of upholding the long term sustainable development of the society. As for the Caring Company Scheme, it is to foster business and social service organizations to work together to educate the public about CSR and its impact on the community.
Intertek Hong Kong was awarded as the ‘Caring Company’ for the first time in 2012 and was proud to be nominated by Hong Kong Red Cross to maintain the continuity of the status for the third consecutive year. Being the Caring Company, the awarded company has to fulfill at least 2 criteria out of 3 key categories:
- Caring for the Community which includes activities for volunteering and giving to the Community
- Caring for Employees which includes employee safety and recognizing employee as an important asset
- Caring for the Environment which includes Green partnership and successful implementation of environmental protection practices
It is a great honor for Intertek Hong Kong to be awarded by this renowned CSR icon. The award is certainly an encouragement to our commitment in this area.
