Intertek Hong Kong is Now Authorized Testing Laboratory for “Delivery Service for Lab Test” Scheme in Macau

Intertek Hong Kong has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center (CPTTM) for the accreditation of the “Delivery Service for Lab Test” Scheme for food products. Under this scheme, Intertek Hong Kong is now an authorized testing laboratory for food products.

The MoU strengthens the cooperation between the two organizations and extends the authorized scope of Intertek testing services to food products, in addition to the existing textile and electronics products under the “Delivery Service for Lab Test” Scheme.  

Launched by CPTTM in 2010, the Scheme aims to enhance the quality and safety of local industrial products, promoting new product development and industrial diversification. Under the current scheme, manufacturers in Macau ordering textiles, electronics or food products testing services from Intertek Hong Kong, an authorized testing laboratory under CPTTM, only have to pay 20% of the testing fees (including delivery charges).
