Attaining the World’s First Status to Test and Certify Qi-enabled Wireless Devices According to the Latest Specification

Intertek Hong Kong, the world’s first authorized testing laboratory (ATL) by Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) to offer testing and certification services for both Baseline Power Profile (BPP) and Extended Power Profile (EPP) devices, has again become the world’s first ATL to be accredited for the latest Qi testing specification V.1.2.2.

The new specification brings improved quality, safety and compatibility to BPP and EPP devices. It is important that chipset or end-product manufacturers test their products according to the latest specification before mass production to ensure they are ready for market. From today onwards, customers working with Intertek for Qi testing and certification can enjoy having their products certified to the latest Qi testing specification.
