Temporary Closure of Intertek Hong Kong Garment Centre

On 11 February, it was confirmed that one of Intertek Hong Kong’s colleagues who returned to work at our Hong Kong Garment Centre in Kowloon has contracted the coronavirus.
In light of the above, we have taken the decision to temporarily close our Hong Kong Garment Centre from 11 February for 14 days. The entire building has now been sanitized thoroughly to ensure the health and safety of our people and customers.
At Intertek, the health and safety of our people and customers is our number one priority and we apologise for any inconvenience the temporary closure of our centre may cause. To minimise the impact to our customers’ business operations, we have taken immediate action to communicate with them for work arrangements. Meanwhile, any samples to be sent to Intertek during this period should be submitted to our other Hong Kong offices or Intertek offices in the Greater China region. All testing work in Hong Kong will be resumed from Feb 25, 2020 when our people return to Garment Centre.
