Intertek Hong Kong Supports Laclary's Hygiene Dining Club Programme

Since the outbreak of Covid-19, many caterers in Hong Kong have experienced a severe downturn in business, causing temporary or permanent closure. Many local Food and Beverage outlets have been struggling to prove themselves to the public that they put the safety and wellbeing of customers as a priority, thus facilitate practically hygienic measurements to gain the trust of customers.
Intertek Hong Kong has partnered with Laclary to support their “Hygiene Dining Club” programme – a restaurant hygiene application designed by Laclary to reassure diners of the cleanliness of restaurants and cafeterias, and to allow food caterers to demonstrate the highest standards of hygiene.
Laclary is an online platform that offers daily sanitation updates and information on menus, ambiance, and price of restaurants to the public. It also maintains cleaning records of eateries for consumers to review before making their dining decisions. Throughout the process, Intertek verifies that restaurants are meeting hygiene practices according to our Intertek Hygiene Inspection programme.
In addition to hygiene practices, participating restaurants can also showcase daily real-time cleaning records or signature dishes. With third-party inspection and verification, food corporations can safeguard their reputation and have smoother control of their operations all through the supply chain.
