Intertek Nominated by Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) as E&E Industries Advisory Committee

Intertek Hong Kong is pleased to announce that Jason Ho, Vice President, Electrical is serving as a member of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) Electronics/Electrical Appliances Industries Advisory Committee, helping HKTDC define strategies that assist and develop Hong Kong and International trade.
Comprised of industry experts in the field of consumer electronics, electrical components and medical devices, the Committee represents the views of the electronics industry. Their mission is to advise HKTDC on the formulation of strategies, policies and legislation for Hong Kong’s electronics and electrical appliances industries. The Committee will discuss the latest industry issues in hopes of further strengthening the HKTDC’s contribution to the sectors.
Coming from Testing and Certification background, and as a member of Intertek, Jason has helped countless clients ensure their electronic products are in compliance with all the relevant standards and regulations, even non-mandatory ones. Jason’s priority, as a member of the Committee, is to promote quality, safety and sustainability to the government, public bodies, and trade organisations, as well as the general public. With his extensive industrial knowledge and deep understanding of the market trends, he wants to encourage higher performance electronic products and services.
Says Jason Ho: “I am honoured to join the Committee. It is extremely exciting for Intertek to be one of the first in the T&C industry, supporting the mission of the Committee and the government.
