Intertek Hong Kong Celebrates 50th Anniversary with Charity Hamper

Honouring the milestone with gratitude and appreciation

Intertek Hong Kong is celebrating its 50th birthday all year throughout 2023. At the beginning of the Year of the Rabbit, our Hong Kong team have surprised our customers with our 50th anniversary charity hampers.

In collaboration with Rinato Eco Floral Shop, a social enterprise that aims to promote social integration for individuals who are hard of hearing, we delivered cactus plants to VIP customers.

The goodies in the hampers carry different meanings:

Cactus plants - symbolise endurance, persistence, and toughness. This succulent has the quality of storing water which helps it so survive in extremely dry and hot habitats. They represent our pledge of being resilient fighters who do not give up in tough situations.

Cushions - are the symbol of our mutual support throughout these 50 years, through thick and thin.

Chinese Paintings by the renowned artist Ms. Tien Ching-ping feature our best wishes for a blooming success. Each painting is customised by Ms. Tien, who also allows us to take this chance to support the good deeds of the Hong Kong Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA).
