Strengthening Key Relationships within the Medical Sector
Intertek Hong Kong recently joined an evening of celebrations to mark the 20th anniversary of the Hong Kong Medical and Healthcare Device Industries Association Limited. Established in 2003, HKMHDIA has grown to become the premier association in Hong Kong for medical and healthcare device industries, representing professionals and organisations working in this crucial sector. The Association is committed to developing members' expertise, elevating industry standards and ethics, and providing training in technology, regulations, and compliance. Moreover, the HKMHDIA actively advises members on regulatory impacts and seeks government support to promote industry growth and development.
During the evening, Intertek colleagues exchanged ideas with valued customers and industry partners, commemorating the past 20 years of success for HKMHDIA, and looked forward to the innovations and advancements that lie ahead. The event provided an excellent platform for networking, collaborating, and strengthening relationships, further solidifying Intertek’s position as a trusted partner in the sector.
Jason Ho, Vice President, Electrical, Intertek Hong Kong, has once again been elected as a core committee member of the HKMHDIA for the Executive Board. Jason has been highly involved in the Board, promoting the importance of compliance and cybersecurity within the medical industry.
Jason commented: "I am honored to be re-elected to the HKMHDIA Executive Board for the 2023-2024 term, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as a bridge between the testing industry, especially Intertek and the medical sector.
