Intertek Greater China recently hosted the meeting of the Notified Bodies Cooperation Group for Energy Efficiency Regulations (NBCG-EER)-Working Groups in Hong Kong, to discuss the scope extension and implement of Omani Energy Efficiency Scheme.

Established in 2022, NBCG-EER Working Groups is growing to become an expert team to support GSO in developing regulation scope, standard adoption, test & certification criteria in Gulf countries’ Energy Efficiency Scheme. Intertek Shanghai is one of the 3 Group Convenors of the working groups, who presided this meeting in Hong Kong.

During the meeting, Mr. Rashed Isa Rashed, GSO Representative, expressed sincere appreciation to Intertek for hosting the meeting.

In addition to facilitating the meeting, Intertek took the initiative to propose the implementation and transition plan of new/updated Energy Efficiency Regulations, and the improvement plan for the registration platform.

By hosting the meeting and contributing innovations, Intertek has strengthened relationships with Standardisation Organisations, solidifying Intertek’s position as a trusted partner, which will boom future testing and certification business.
