Assisting Corporations to Expand into the BRI and RCEP Market

Intertek Hong Kong were invited by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) to share their expert opinion on how Hong Kong can better serve mainland Chinese companies in their international business endeavours. As a member of HKTDC's Information & Communications Technology Advisory Committee, Jason Ho, Electrical Vice-President has been asked to provide insights on the services that Hong Kong can offer mainland companies as they expand globally, particularly in the Belt and Road and RCEP markets.

Jason engaged in discussions with HKTDC to shed light on the advantages Hong Kong can offer mainland companies in their international business and investment ventures, focusing on topics such as the current state of third-party testing services provided by Hong Kong, the strengths of Hong Kong in servicing mainland companies' international business and investment activities, and the challenges and recommended solutions for mainland enterprises venturing into international markets.

The invitation from HKTDC demonstrates the recognition and respect Intertek has garnered in the industry for its high-quality testing and certification services. With a wealth of experience and expertise, Intertek has been instrumental in assisting Hong Kong and mainland enterprises in meeting the necessary compliance requirements for both mandatory and voluntary testing and certification. By sharing knowledge, Intertek aims to contribute to the research findings published by HKTDC, which is already available on their website.
