Intertek China Certifies 3M Thinsulate Featherless Insulation with Green Leaf Mark

Intertek Greater China is thrilled to announce that 3M Thinsulate Featherless Insulation, a globally reputed warming material, has been certified with Intertek Green Leaf Mark.

On November 6th, Intertek was invited to the "3M™ Thinsulate™ Featherless Insulation Carbon Footprint Assessment Certification Ceremony" held at the China International Import Expo. Young Zhu, Intertek Greater China Vice President, was present at the event and awarded the "Intertek Green Leaf Certified Environmental Product Footprint Certificate" to 3M™ Thinsulate™ Featherless Insulation.

Intertek's Green Leaf Certification is highly regarded in the realm of environmental certification. The Green Leaf certification is a voluntary and international standard that sets requirements for environmental footprints and chain of custody with the aim of promoting the use of environmentally friendly materials.

3M Thinsulate, reputable worldwide since 1978, has been the preferred choice for cold-weather products owing to its golden triangle warming structure: low thermal conductivity, fluffy structure, and shielding of body radiation. With the launch of the new featherless warming material, which is processed on the basis of 85% recycled environmental material, the company further consolidates its leadership in the lightweight warming domain. The new processing technology optimizes the product processing flow, reducing carbon emissions from raw materials and energy during the product lifecycle.
