Intertek Exhibits at Hong Kong Toys and Games Fair 2024

Intertek Hong Kong recently exhibited at the 50th Hong Kong Toys and Games Fair 2024 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), with great success.

Embracing the theme “Innovative Play: A Legend Across Time,” the fair became a spectacle of creativity and innovation, showcasing how traditional play intersects with emerging technologies.

The 4-day fair was a global platform for industry professionals to converge and explore the latest trends, with a special focus on how play evolves through time.

At Intertek Hong Kong, the booth stood out as a hub of innovation and forward-thinking practices. The booth was meticulously designed to demonstrate Intertek's dedication to incorporating ESG into every facet of the toy production process, aligning with the increasing consumer demand for products that are as ethically produced as they are entertaining. Our ESG assurance solutions assist toy manufacturers in adopting sustainable practices, ensuring product safety, and adhere to social responsibility standards.

The booth became a centre for learning and engagement, featuring two interactive mini games that immediately drew attention from attendees. The first game utilised a Gauss meter to provide a practical demonstration of measuring magnetic flux in toys, emphasising the critical nature of magnetic safety standards. The second offered an impact hammer challenge, giving clients a chance to assess the robustness of toy battery compartments, thus highlighting the importance of strong design for child safety. Through these immersive activities, Intertek showcased a deep understanding of safety compliance, while providing an educational and enjoyable experience.
