Surface Hygiene Testing Services

Intertek’s Surface Hygiene Testing has been developed to help in the prevention and monitoring of COVID-19 infection.

Environmental monitoring of high-touch areas can provide a proactive approach to reducing the risk of spreading the virus and provide reassurance to your employees and guests. Such monitoring can check the environmental surfaces, such as door handles, reception desk, keyboards, elevator push button panel, etc., to validate the effectiveness of cleaning and sanitation activities.

COVID-19 Swab Test

• On-site swabbing of targeted surface areas for possible presence of COVID-19 virus by Intertek experts.
• Identification of presence of COVID-19 virus on specific locations to enable customers to take action quickly to protect themselves and to give their guests peace of mind during their visit.
• Swabs are transported to Intertek Laboratory for rapid biomolecular analysis using the innovative LAMP technology.
• The swabs are processed within hours of receipt, allowing preliminary results to be reported within 1 day.

ATP Swab Test

• Monitor the overall effectiveness of cleaning and disinfection of surfaces and environment.
• Help to ensure environmental hygiene of multiple common areas and high-contact surfaces.
• Swabs are processed within a few minutes on-site, allowing our customers to have immediate information on the cleanliness of the surfaces and environment in their premises.

Monthly On-site Hygiene Inspection
